Lyrics

Lyrics

I’m lookin’ for a rainbow
The bridge between my happiness and sorrow
I’m lookin’ for a window
Into the world that I don’t know

Over the horizon
Someone waits for me
Beyond the mystic river
Somewhere between here and the sea

Look into your rainbow
Find your pot of gold
It’s somewhere in the shadow
Beneath the greatest story ever told

Hear the church bells ringing
Listen to them chime
Here the voices singing
And the poets rhyme

Look into your rainbow
Find your pot of gold
It’s somewhere in the shadow
Beneath the greatest story ever told

Follow your rainbow
Follow your rainbow

Story

This song and the photo were the inspiration for this record.  The photo is of Bridge Five, where my aunt used to live on a mystical, Brigadoon-like lane.

You are the bridge and there is something, Someone, on the other side bridging to you.  Or as T.S. Eliot wrote, "You are the music while the music lasts."

Dedicated to HWF & ABU.
